Better Understand Your Special Someone – Creating Closer Relationships

Are you in a romantic relationship? Would you like to know more about your special person? Would you be interested in knowing them on a deeper level?

To find out about anyone you can talk and listen, you can go one step further and go to counselling, or you can just wait and see what surfaces as the weeks, months, years go by.

Or you can find out immediately, no matter how short or how long a time you have known each other. You can find out the true characteristics and foundational personality of your Special Someone.

This can promote understanding and further an already great relationship by identifying where compatibility exists already and how to prevent future problems in less compatible areas.

If your significant other sometimes behaves in a way you find annoying, insensitive or just don’t understand, in the future you may be able to understand where s/he’s coming from and why this is happening. That can make a huge difference to getting along and having a close relationship.

In the process you learn more about yourself and other human beings that you could imagine. You are in a better position to choose the right person for you. You have more understanding of how to create deep and lasting relationships

How can this be done? There are a variety of personality assessments out there, any of which can help to some extent, but the one I want to tell you about is Handwriting Analysis.

A trained analyst can of course give you a complete compatibility report which will totally blow you away with the information and insights it gives.

Or you can do it yourself. There are some major relationship traits to examine, but in this article we will look only at the two most influential.

The slant of the writing shows emotional expression and the heaviness of the writing shows depth (or lasting power) of feelings. The various combinations of these 2 things have an enormous influence on how people act, feel and respond in a relationship.

A left hand slant is someone who holds in their feelings. It does not at all mean that they don’t have feelings; it just means they won’t allow them to show. An upright “slant” means that the writer will maintain their calm and not show much emotion. This is not the same as holding it in, it means this person is just naturally calm and so feelings are expressed calmly and without emotion. They may say “I love you” but are unlikely to suddenly grab you in an emotional frenzy!

The farther to the right the slant, the more emotion is expressed, until to get to almost horizontal writing which is emotional dependency – this writer is overly emotional much of the time.

So now you know who will be more expressive.

Now to look at the heaviness of the writing. Heavy writing means feelings leave a deep impression. The deeper the impression the longer it lasts. Light writing means light impression, so feelings of the light writer will be less intense, and if it is a grudge or extreme exhilaration, it will last a shorter time that it would with a heavier line writer.

So put the two together. Take Sally, a left slanting, light pressure writer. She will hold in her feelings while they last, and let grudges or peeves go very quickly. Match her up with Kevin, a right slanting, heavy line writer.

Kevin shows his feelings very much. Happy or sad, you know it immediately. He also takes things deeply to heart, so this demonstration of emotion will last a while.

Sally and Kevin have a disagreement. Sally doesn’t show much of anything, and soon has let go and is ready to get on with life. Kevin makes a grandiose display of his unhappiness and keeps it going, and going and going.

So Sally gets very fed up with Kevin’s behavior. Meanwhile, Kevin thinks Sally really doesn’t care since she appears to be totally unaffected by their blow-up.

However, if Sally and Kevin just learn to understand each other’s different way of operating, they will be more ready to accept the other’s behaviour. Perhaps with discussion at a calmer time they could agree that she could try to express a bit more how she feels – and perhaps he could agree to “put a lid” on it a bit sooner! Either way, just the understanding alone makes the relationship sounder.

And so it goes with every thing about each personality, and each relationship. Understanding is the key.

You don’t have to be a fully trained handwriting analyst to work out some of the more obvious characteristics of you both. By just learning at an amateur or fun level you can learn how to understand your significant other in minutes discovering things you might not find out till years of living together.

Handwriting Analysis is amazingly insightful and one of the most potent relationship builders around.
